Xiaomi launches new smart TVs with Android TV 11, dual-band WiFi from Rs 15,999
NEW DELHI: Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi Wednesday launched two new Redmi smart televisions in India, priced at Rs 15,999 for the 32-inch variant and Rs 25,999 for the 43-inch variant.The smart TVs will be available on Mi.com, Mi Home, Mi Studio, Amazon.in and across all offline retail partners.The 43-inch Redmi smart TV comes with a Full-HD display while the 32-inch variant gets an HD display of 1366x768 pixels resolution with a 178-degree viewing angle. Both TVs offer granular control over picture settings.The smart TVs pack a 20W speaker setup with Dolby Audio and support 5.1 surround sound. They also support Dolby Atmos via ARC Port along with DTS Virtual X and DTS-HD for surround sound experience.The Redmi smart TV series features a 64-bit quad-core processor that comes paired with the quad-core A35 CPU and Mali G31 GPU and 1GB RAM with 8GB storage.

All in all, the smart TV market grabbed an 80% share of the overall TV market during the quarter.

See More DetailsFor connectivity, the smart TV series come with dual-band WiFi with 2.4GHz/5GHz on the HD/GHD displays, MIMO technology, and an Auto Latency Mode. Both televisions can cast applications from smartphones using Miracast. The connectivity suite includes Bluetooth 5.0, 2xUSB 2.0 ports, an Ethernet port, an AV port, and a 3.5 mm jack.
